Celebrating Women’s History Month, MissionSquare Retirement’s Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professionals will address some of the challenges that women face when tackling financial planning. More women than ever are responsible for their financial well-being and that of their families. No matter what life stage they’re in, they need to know how to save, invest, and plan for the future.
Adrienne Stark is Certified Financial Planner™ with nearly twenty years of experience helping clients make their next best financial decision. In additional to being a Certified Financial Planner™, she is a Retirement Income Certified Professional and holds the FINRA Series 7, 24,63, and 65 licenses. Prior to MissionSquare she worked at TIAA and Vanguard helping clients plan for their future. She graduated from Lafayette College with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and American Studies.

Maria A. Kersey earned a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Communications from the University of Pittsburgh. Maria is a Certified Financial Planner™ and a registered financial representative who holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from Georgetown University as well as the FINRA SIE, Series 6, 7 and 63 Licenses. She also has the Life, Health and Long-Term Care Insurance Licenses.
Maria has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years. She spent 10 years with the Vanguard Group working in their Participant Services call center. There she managed associates who handled 401(k) and 403(b) participants. She also spent 20 years at TIAA where she served as a Financial Consultant providing advice and guidance to 403(b) participants of higher education and the hospital market. Most recently she served as an independent Financial Advisor with Mass Mutual where she assisted individuals with their financial planning and insurance needs.
