This workshop will educate supervisors about how to effectively manage union-represented employees. It will address the due process rights of employees protected against discipline/dismissal except for “just cause”. The workshop will also focus on the importance of the specific terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, personnel policies and “past practice” in making personnel decisions. Attendees will be invited to participate in the discussion and ask questions. The Attorneys will share real world examples in reviewing these concepts.
