IaPELRA’s Sponsorship Program offers businesses promotional and networking opportunities with public sector agencies. The dollars generated from sponsor contributions assist IaPELRA in hosting educational programs and professional development activities for members.
ABOUT
IaPELRA is a long-standing, not-for-profit professional association committed to assisting public sector management in maintaining a strong labor and human resources position in the face of labor negotiation challenges, budget restrictions and state and federal regulations. Our 100 plus members are directly or indirectly responsible for labor-management decisions.
OPPORTUNITY
As reflected in the attached descriptions, IaPELRA’s sponsorship tiers provide three options for sponsorships – Bronze: General Sponsor, Silver: Seminar Sponsor and Gold: Conference Sponsor.
IaPELRA Events:
- Fall Conference (two days), 2nd week of September
- Spring Meeting (one day), first week of May
- Winter Meeting (virtual, half-day), first week of December.
Each event is attended by over 50 HR professionals focused in the areas of labor relations, human resources, city/county administration with union workforces throughout Iowa. The IaPELRA chapter includes over 100 members across Iowa’s public sector entities.

*An Affiliate membership is open to attorneys and consultants who are not employees of a public employer but who represent and actively work for the interests of public management and who solely represent and support the interest of management human resources or in labor/employee relations matters. Affiliate membership is also open to any staff member of a government league or association who is responsible for providing management, human resources or employee or labor relations services to such organization. Please note that Sponsors and Affiliate members may present relevant, best practice content at chapter meetings; however, should refrain from using these forums to solicit business or from using the membership database for unsolicited outreach.
